I just got back from a holiday in Victoria which was pretty dope, my little brother turned 17 & I missed out on going to Judas Priest with him but got to ride the new indoor park Rampfest - that park is intense. Dope bowl, smooth transitions & killer lines made for a real good time. While I was there I definitely saw at least 15 different kids under 15 years old doing backies, lots of flairs, a few different 360 double whips, fronties. If the next big contest rider doesn't come out of Melbourne because of this park I'll eat my hat. The riding is seriously that out of hand. Anyway, enough jibber jabbing, we've gotta get back to putting this store back together, new look store & a new look site, both coming soon. Nice. - Tyson
This is the (fairly) new park in Kilmore, the next town over from where
I used to live before I moved to Canberra. For how small the town is
(and the park), there is a tight knit group of shredders, one of which
is the bloke who took this photo. Brad Simons, or Darbo can do seriously
any new age trick you can think of plus anything else on a bike with
dual 48h wheels & brakes held on on by a bit of string. This day
he did up rail ride to bars on a six stair rail, clicked turndown 3's,
whip fakies, you name it.
Rampfest is really, really good. The ramps were perfect, enough said. Photo: Darbo
The box is real good too. Surely following me is Claw. We spent most of the afternoon flicking while everyone else was tricking. Claw is a champ; that dude shreds regardless of whether he's missing digits.
Imagine this kids; 84 different models of bikes to choose from for 2009. This is halfway to that reality. 4 to the floor.
