The weather is heating up, but our updates have been cooling off hardcore, we've been mad busy. Sorry. It seems everytime we post some news I start off with an apology, so sorry about that too.

First off a big congrats to Zachary Hackery Miner for scoring the double up - front cover of 2020 with a gnarl wallie & back cover of Rebel Yell with possibly an even gnarlier over pegs on the side of a roof higher than you'd ever want to fall off. In the same issue of 2020 you'll find a photo bio of Jeff Bahr. Jeff is also that issue's ad boy for us, kid is insane.
If you're keen on good ads check our other one else where in the issue..

Next off, we've had a huge amount of e-mails about Wethepeople completes, as well as the price increase on all bikes. For starters, all the Wethepeople's will be back in stock early January, except for the Envy - turns out they were way more popular than the guys that bring them in thought they were going to be - so they won't be back in stock until late January.

As for the price increase, if you haven't seen the news over the last couple of months (or just don't care/aren't old enough to care) there was a huge crash in the American enomony, which lead to prices on making/manufacturing/buying everything more expensive (everything from food to bikes). This also somehow caused the Australian dollar to drop almost 30 cents. Google it if you want to know more, this is Back Bone BMX not Back Bone Financial Advisors, haha.
So basically prices on pretty much all complete bikes & some parts have increased because of all this, sucks but we're trying hard to keep the price down as much as possible. Check the prices online if you want to know how much things have changed. But hey, at least you weren't born 10 years prior, when a $1000 dollar complete came with one piece cranks and was a Haro. Blahh.

On the positive side of things, since we've opened 3 years ago we've had a hell of a lot of work experience kids, but not one as dedicated as the last young gun we had last week. Jay Rosier AKA Jaybones is from Narrabri in NSW, if you don't where that is (trust me, we still aren't really sure either), is about two and a half hours north of Dubbo - eight hours away from Back Bone. Jaybones came down solely to do work experience, stayed with his cousin who he didn't really know & worked like a champ. Thanks heaps Jay!

Lastly, Jared Carter sent through some photos of his mate Junior. Bloody hell, kid can ride.

Lastly, we'll be closing on the 23rd of December & re opening on the 5th of January, so orders during that time might be delayed.
