Cam's jam went down on Saturday arvo just gone, which was pretty crazy considering most of the guys who rode were at the bar on Friday night until the early morning. The jumps were as always, as large as hell but were the most dialed in they've ever been. Cam & everyone who's helped has definitely gone for gold to get them into shape, which is pretty hard to do under the sun that his backyard gets. Mike 'Hucker' Clark came out to ride this year, as well as TJ Ellis, Anthony Napolitan, Dave Dillewaard & most of the riders from BMX games come up to have a crack. The riding as usual was intense, the best year yet I'd say, there was a lot of guys shredding that I've never seen before which is definitely cool to see on such a gnarly set of jumps. Heck, I was so nervous rolling down the roll in for the first time I nearly jittered myself into Cam's pool off the lip. Someone who didn't seem nervous at all though was Hucker, he'd roll in after just finding out that he bent his forks & very casually three the fourth set before double flipping the last - all with the biggest grin on his face. Cam shredded as usual, bloody front flipped the fourth set (which he told me was 38 foot long) as well as flip bar to whipping the last. Gunners Chris killed it too, he's pretty much a local out at Cam's & was the dude I chose to follow through most runs. He actually pulled out after the 3rd hip one run because of the ruts in the landing & pretty much everyone on the roll in said 'well I'm not going through if he didn't go through'. That's how dialed he was. Unfortunately though a three went wrong on the 2nd set & he crashed, but he got back up there & kept riding. Trooper. After the initial jam, the owner of Rampfest put up an extra $1000 for best trick which was held on the 2nd set, some crazy tricks were thrown down, but TJ Ellis pulled a perfect double flip for the money. In the end though, Hucker come out with 'King Of The Hill', Josh Stead won Best Style & Best Trick went to TJ Ellis. What is really awesome though is Cam ended up raising $16,789.10 for charity, over double what they raised last year! A big thanks go out to Cam, his family & his girlfriend Michelle for organising the event - it was off hook & I seriously suggest getting out there next year. - Tyson
TJ Ellis, flip no hander on the 4th set.
As well as the double flip, TJ Ellis also smashed out this double whip 360 in the first two minutes of the best trick comp.
Everyone loves product tosses.
The winners: Josh Stead - Best Style, Hucker - King Of The Hill, TJ Ellis - Best trick.
Gungahlin Local with his new Colony Bloody Oath won in the raffle, check the crowd going nuts for him!

Sometimes you don't need to know everything, but what you can see is Hucker oppo 3ing the 38ft 4th set, my vote for the trick of the comp went to this. Landed clean, first go. Damn the kid shreds.
